Growing Muslims and Shortage of Mosque in Spain

Fast growing Muslims in Spain need enough mosques to performing worships. Muslims in the country have been growing up to a million from about 50.000 before 10 years. They are now facing dearth of mosque to pray, but they are devoting serious efforts to overcome the problem.

Some local governments in Spain welcome the efforts and realize changing fact in Spain's soceity. "We used to have a dominant religion, and now we have many religions, and we have to find a way of respecting that fact,"...... "Churches were the great public works of the Middle Ages and of the Renaissance. Now I see a day when every large city in Spain will have a mosque.", IHT quoted Mayor of L'leida City of Catalonia.
