About five million muslims of France now have their own media. Oumma.com, established at 2000, becomes effective media to promote moderate muslims voices and improve islam's image in Europe.
Aljazeera.net said that the site has more than 120.000 members and 500 t0 600 thousand visits per day.
The site has been managed by only 4 people: redactor, 2 journalists and photograper. Said Branine, chief of redaction, said that oumma.com has been believed as media to transform muslims in France from being object of media to be effective player in the field.
